Hayden injured his left knee when he stepped in a seam that joins sections of grass at Houston's Reliant Stadium.
"That really, really (stinks) right there, stepping in a hole,'' cornerback Marlin Jackson said. "If you get hurt, you want to get hurt in the middle of the action, not stepping in a hole.
"They've got to take care of the field a little better, something, I don't know. There were a few holes on the field. We were warming up and, a couple of spots, you could feel it.''
